4th of July Celebration at Woodlawn Lake Park
San Antonio’s official Fourth of July celebration isn’t number one for nothing. It has everything you’d want in a patriotic blowout: live musical entertainment, games and activities, 1K and 5K run, a parade, fireworks, and best of all, all of it is kid-friendly! So bring your kiddos in your minivan and drive to Woodlawn Lake Park for some fun and games! You didn’t hear this from us, but there might even be a snow cone or two that’s totally worth the brain freeze.

Six Flags Fiesta Texas Coca-Cola Fest
Everyone loves a good firework show, so why not amp up the fun with some crazy rides, contests, and carnival-style food? Tour the amusement park all day and then, when you feel like it couldn’t get any better, sit down on the hills and watch one of best firework shows in the state! 
Quick tip: Presenting a can of Coca-Cola with your regular admission pass will give you early access to select rides, including the new Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Coaster, Batman the Ride, SCREAM, Hustler, and Poltergeist!

There’s no better way to celebrate the Fourth of July than with a night of beautiful fireworks, but why stop there? The Golf Club of Texas is having an all-out blast which includes everything from fun games to backyard bbq faves. Make sure to bring your golf clubs, because this is one game you won’t want to miss!

Independence Day at the Alamo
Celebrate Independence Day the historical way by visiting the Alamo! While you’re there, you’ll find folk musical performances, musket demonstrations, and a performance by Fort Sam’s Own 323d Army Band. After taking in all of the folksy festivities, stroll down to the River Walk to see arts and crafts vendors sharing their greatest treasures, eat some delicious street cuisine from an array of food trucks, and listen to the musings of street musicians!
