Workshop: Cardboard Construction
You know we love any chance to get our hands dirty and the McNay always delivers on major creative inspiration. In this live exhibit, local artist Chris Sauter leads guests in the creation of a three-dimensional design using repeated shapes cut from cardboard to make a sculpture, leaving both wall and sculpture as the finished work of art. In conjunction with his installation in the McNay’s new exhibition “Immersed,” the McNay is not to be missed.
$10-$25; 10:30am-1:30pm; McNay Art Museum, 6000 N New Braunfels Ave.
Hope you liked our weekend roundup and will check out some of these family-friendly events with a twist! You know where we'll be!
